The Hearts of Two Mothers

Here is a wonderful poem that the Adoptive Mother Wrote for Cassidy and I.
I Cherish this poem so much. You mothers and criers get some tissue ready you may cry!! 

Her Love for you began long ago,
And I know continues still.
She loved you more than you may ever know...
She put your future above her own will

She felt you move, and took great care,
To ensure you had the best.
She chose your dad and I
To be the parents you'd bless.

You hold the hearts of two mothers,
And got the best from each one.

I see her light in your eyes,
And her strength in your soul.
You are the hope of my heart,
And the joy that makes it full.

You have the hearts of two mother,
While others have only one.

She brought you safely from heaven above,
And placed you in our care.
The privilege of being your mother,
Is a miracle I'm honored to bear.

I will be forever grateful
For the mother who brought you to me.
I'll forever try to be worthy of the miracle,
She carried and gave to me.
